FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How to tie the knot to a string bracelet?

There are various knots you may tie on a bracelet. We recommend a Mo xiang li or never-part knot to end a bracelet. The steps are: a. Measure the bracelet around the wrist plus extra length (10–15 cm) for tying. b. Hold the working end (the end you’ll manipulate) and the standing end (the fixed part). c. Follow the steps above to tie it.

How to measure string bracelet size?

To measure your bracelet size, wrap a flexible tape, string, or paper strip snugly around your wrist bone, mark the overlap, then measure that length with a ruler; for a bracelet, add 1/4 to 1 inch to your wrist measurement, depending on your desired fit (snug to loose).

How to put on a string bracelet by yourself?
  • Loosen the bracelet by sliding the knots apart.
  • Slip your hand through the bracelet.
  • Pull the ends to tighten it comfortably around your wrist. Tie a knot to fasten.
  • Adjust so it sits flat and snug, but not too tight.
Is it okay to get my string bracelet wet?

It depends. Glint&Luck black string bracelets are made of aramid fiber, which is resistant to water and most chemicals. So it's okay to get the bracelet wet. Furthermore, our string bracelets are very thin, making them easy to dry by air. For bracelets made of other materials, it's recommended to remove them before showering, swimming, or prolonged exposure to moisture.
